Federal mandates in the highly regulated financial services industry dictate that non-public client information must be secured at all times. Contango Capital Advisors sought a solution that would enable their individual agents to easily send high-touch 1 to 1 client communications to their clients as simply as sending an email while meeting all regulatory and compliance needs.
Contango Capital Advisors, a Salt Lake City based full service stock brokerage and investment firm, was looking for a solution to their client communication needs while still complying with Regulation S-P ("Reg S-P"), which requires financial institutions under the authority of the SEC to protect and safe guard client information. Under this regulation, client information can't be sent by public email and forces firms to rely heavily on paper mail and fax for sending documents. Both are time consuming and costly to both the sending organization and the client. Contango recognized the need to provide their clients with an added convenience and ease of use. Contango came to Sendside for a client communication solution that will allow them to send confidential easily and securely.

Sendside allowed Contango to send documents via Packages and Secure Messages instead of via fax, overnight or paper mail, providing Contango clients with better customer service and greater efficiencies while decreasing mailing and faxing costs.
